Gala Auction

The Sion Gala is a major fundraiser and social event of the year. There are many ways to support the Gala, including volunteering for the Gala Auction Committee. If you would like to volunteer your time and talents in the following committees, please contact Bridget Rutledge at (816) 753-3810, ext. 2160.

Ticket price of $150 per guest includes hors d'oeuvres, open bar and gourmet dinner. A table of 10 is $1,500. Cocktail attire is suggested. View photos from last year here!

A block of rooms has been reserved for March 4, 2017 at the InterContinental Hotel. Please contact the hotel directly at 816.856.9717 or www.kansascityic.com and utilize the code “NDS” for the discounted room rate of $139. Please be advised that the cutoff date is Thursday, February 2, 2017 for booking reservations in this block at the discounted rate.

Table Sales/Hosts: Encourage attendance by helping fill tables of 10 guests for the auction. (Jan. - Feb.)

Chance of a Lifetime Sales: Sell at least 10 Chance of a Lifetime tickets before the Gala. Selling begins as soon as all Live Auction items are secured.

Display Committee: Help set-up & display silent auction items at the Intercontinental on Friday, March 3rd.

Gift Gathering Parties

Gift gathering parties support the Sion Gala as well as providing an opportunity to socialize within the Sion community. By attending a Gift Gathering Party, you will have the opportunity to meet new people, catch up with old friends and have fun! The purpose is to collect auction items and raise additional funds.
