The Parochial League City Meet for cross country was held yesterday. The following kids placed in the top ten of their age group: Nate Sullivan, Grace Gaither, Sophie Emerson, Sophie Henkle, Abby Farmer, Lily Henkle, Olivia Sopyla. Overall it was a very successful season!

Our youngest runners found their inner lions and displayed an increased intensity. Each runner improved his or her time again. Our oldest runners continued to dominate the competition and also showed improved performance. Next Monday's meet is the City Meet and promises to be exciting. In addition to individual times, there will be a team score. Have a great week. Go Lions!

On September 21, the Cross Country team participated in a Missouri-Kansas meet at Northland Cathedral. The team rose to the challenge of increased competition. Individual times continued to drop and there were a number of top 10 finishes for the Sion teams. All signs point to an exciting City Meet on October 5.

Sion's Cross Country team participated in the first meet of the season on September 14. The new group of Lower School runners joined their Middle School peers with a strong showing in the Parochial League Invitational. Sion Pride was on full display and there were many strong performances to build upon for the season. Go Lions!
